Woohoo'ish :) I am feeling so much better today!!! Its been like forever I have felt like
this!! :) Let's do my stats for the day 1st :) On the elliptical I did 25 min to 1.55, then 3
circuits at level 3, then bike 10 min to 1.50, then treadmill 20 min to .48!!!! I am almost
back to full strength!!! :) I am even looking forward to my evening workout again. I did it! It
was a kinda fun one but man it kicked my butt. Could tell I haven't done it in over a week or
so.
I don't remember what all I have written about lately so let's recap :) I went to doctor about
3 weeks ago cause my test results weren't showing any improvement. She upped my thyroid and
blood sugar dosage and prescribed blood pressure and iron pills. Well few days or a week later
the blood pressure pill kicked in hard and boy did I feel it! Knocked me down hard, was dizzy
and weak and nauseous and no energy at all! Some of the nauseousness had to do with my iron and
upping others too. Saw the doctor 2 or 3 days ago and she said to stop taking the blood
pressure meds cause of the way I was feeling. That I must just have hypertension when I go to
doctors office cause of the reaction I was having. Spent all day yesterday in bed practically,
just felt so drained. It took me hours to get out of bed then I just ate something and watched
tv then called Miki and made arrangements to meet with her to sit with Marli so she could
workout then laid down til time to leave then came home and laid back down and fell asleep til
like 7ish when I got up to do pills and eat and watch tv and then went to bed around 2ish. When
I woke up this morning I had to prod myself a little bit but it wasn't as bad as day before or
Monday. I got going and did really good and was/should have gone grocery shopping but I decided
to go visit Myst at Miki's. Then sat with Marli while she picked up Chandler then stopped by
grocery store where I don't normally go cause its so small to get some fruit at least then came
home and started working. :)
So I got a cat from Miki's like 3 weeks ago and I named her Myst...I did rite about her I
remember that much...maybe not. I named her Mystery aka Myst aka boneless. :) Well little Miss
Spirit just couldn't handle having her here, was always hissing at her. So Myst responded by
chasing after her whenever they were both free. They both seemed to be coming around, kinda,
sorta, but I couldn't handle Spirit being so upset and not acting like she normally did. Plus
she puked up really bad this time, before it was just liquidy. Plus I couldn't handle all the
cleaning and the smell anymore so I gave up, I couldn't handle the heart ache of keeping them
locked up all the time too. She needed more attention and what not so Miki took her back. She
didn't seem as needy and what not when I went over so it was definetly a good idea. It has only
been like 2 or 3 days and she was so more calmed when I saw her. Whenever I was able to let her
out of the bathroom she would be all meowing and purring so loud and rubbing all over me and
following me everywhere. She gets so much attention from 4 people now and is free so much more
without being hissed at all the time. Now she is just getting courted by the kitties outside.
She did get let out some but with 2 kids thats gonna happen and she knows how to handle
herself. I just hope she doesn't get pregnant before her fixing appointment in 20 days. :)

grave on Friday. I was up til 3am then went to bed and got up around 8am'ish to go to
Chandler's soccer game but it was cancelled cause of snow so we picked up Miki's van and took
it out to her house. We spent sometime there then went to Walmart and shopped around then ate
some Subways then went to see Monsters vs Aliens. I think I came home and crashed then got up
for work.
sun 4/26 day off
mon 4/27 day off - I just couldn't bring myself to go into gym. Had zero energy and instead of talking
myself into it I talked myself out of it. I think I tried to do some exercise during my lunch
but only lasted like 2 min before I gave up.

wed 4/29 day off - In bed all day, couldn't do anything.
day 31 & 32
Sat 4/18I feel so bad for Spirit! I keep getting the vibe that she is scared to go into certain rooms
now. I have to carry her back to the office when I am working just to show her its all clear
and I haven't even started leaving new kitty out. She seems so nervous of her own home now, but
they are progressing. Today I had them in the same room for like an hour, they were actually
laying down in same room, kinda sleeping. Then it went to pot, new kitty went after Spirit and
locked away they went again.
I didn't go into gym today but I did do 30 min of Shimmy. It made me feel a little better but
soon after I sat down again I was drained.
Sun 4/19Didn't go to gym or workout today. Was going to but my monthly was kicking my butt and really
didn't get much sleep so skipped it. Tried to get kitties together again but new kitty charged
after Spirit, who wasn't even hissing or growling for a change, was getting ready to sit and
watch her! I kinda had a hold on new kitty but before I could blink she was charging! Luckily
she ran into a chair in the kitchen so she didn't catch up with her and she got distracted by
Spirits food inside the door. New kitty's tail was all poofed and I was getting road to lock
her in the bathroom forever for going after my sweety!!! Wretch! How dare she!!! Of course if I
had someone always hissing and growling at me, even from other side of closed door, I might get
a little tempermental too. :)
Mon 4/20 I did relatively well. I did 10 min on elliptical to .61, 3 circuits at level 3, 10 min on
treadmill to .20. I kinda felt on both of them I coulda done more but I'm glad I didn't cause
it gave me my workout high but I still felt kinda weak and whatnot. Not pushing it gave me
energy to go to the store, drop off 2 bills, get subway, get gas, fill big water bottles, bring
in all groceries and water, take Spirit out for 20 min walk, and wash hair. I am kinda feeling
it now tho, feeling a bit wiped out and stated taking the new rx for today so I have a feeling
it might hit me kinda hard, I hope not tho!
Well so far I'm not doing too bad, feeling really tired and the reactions are on the cusp of
appearing. I didn't do my evening workout, maybe when I get back up to 20 min before and after
or when I get more then like 7 hours sleep. :)
While working out today I realized wasn't totally shut down last few days. I was being so hard
on myself cause I was thinking I had been so lazy last few days. But really I haven't been
(except Sunday), :) I just hadn't been doing very much.
I got on the scale today expecting to have gained some weight but I've lost more, kinda worried
cause I have been doing so little lately that I should have gained or stayed near what I was. I
will probably gain it back but so far since I was weighed around the 1st of the month I have
lost 20 pounds. Hoping its just the new meds and what not and not an indication of something
wrong, the side effects on some are weight loss/gain. I know I shouldn't be complaining but its
weird to loose weight when I have been trying to eat more, to help my body bounce back, and
exercising less and still loosing. It is kinda cool tho, makes my goal seem closer. :)
I am wondering if I am having the reactions I am because I am sitting when I take the newer rx.
Before the end of my shift last night, the last 30-60 min of it I was getting hit hard. I have
felt that way before when I have to little sleep but it shouldn't have been so bad. But when I
got up at end of shift I felt better after walking to living room and sitting differently. It
kinda started coming back but I went to bed and it followed me a bit, but I don't remember
anything after laying down so I don't know.
I've decided to give new kitty, aka Mystery aka Myst aka boneless, another chance. She harms
Spirit tho and she is going! I feel sorry for her but she ain't the alpha cat in this house and
Spirit was here first.
I don't use the chair anymore at all in the kitchen, kinda can't cause it teeters when you sit
on it, even when Spirit does. :)
day 30.75 :(Wolf Man
The Wolf Man comes home one day from a long day at the office. "How was work, dear?" his wife
asks.
"Listen! I don't want to talk about work!" he shouts.
"Okay. Would you like to sit down and eat a nice home cooked meal?" she asks nicely.
"Listen!" he shouts again. "I'm not hungry! I don't wanna eat! All right! Is that all right
with you? Can I come home from work and just do my own thing without you forcing food down my
throat? Huh?"
At this moment, the Wolf Man started growling, and throwing things around the apartment in a
mad rage.
Looking out the window, his wife sees a full moon and says to herself, "Well, I guess it's that
time of the month."
Well I didn't want to do too much today cause I am still really weak feeling so I planned to
only do 10 min each if possible. But it wasn't, I did 10 min treadmill on 1.3 for .23 and 1
circuit at level 3. I felt so weak doing the treadmill and after the circuit I was borderline
so I decided not to push it, I really really hate the dizzy feelings!
So in result I think I have a little more energy and feeling a little better. Miki came home
with me and visited with new kitty. She and Spirit actually watched each other and I think
there was maybe one growly thing but for most part they just sat looking at each other for like
10 minutes. I was so proud of Spirit! :) She still hissed a bit but not as much as yesterday.
I was so flippin cold when I laid down for a nap but I conked right out, although it took the
full 2 hours I was out to warm up. :) Unfortunately when I went to lay down again for some more
sleep I didn't fall asleep til 1 hour before I had to get up. So I am really out of it!
Hopefully tomorrow will be better.
day 30.5 :( :( :(Today was waaaay worse then yesterday! I got in and the elliptical was being used again so I
started doing the treadmill. I did 1.6 for 9 min and got .25 miles on treadmill, then did
elliptical for 25 min and got 2.09 miles. Then I went to do circuit and only got like 1/2 way
done before I started feeling really dizzy and light headed. I have felt like that before so I
knew it wasn't going to go away so I left. I think its just cause I didn't eat much or drink
much last 2 days, monthly started today, standing for those 2 hours day before yesterday, and
the new blood pressure rx. When I was doing elliptical I moved wrong twice and felt my back
twinge bad both time so I am hoping its just a combination of everything. I am hoping to do
some workouts tonight.
I then went to dollar store to get new kitty a food dish and felt dizzy doing that too so I
started going out to Miki's to pick up kitty but turned out she needed to come in and pick up
their pick up so she came and picked me up and we went and got the truck and then I drove the
van (I kept stiffening up and had to keep reminding myself to relax cause I could feel my back
starting to hurt) and Marli out to Miki's and we picked up new kitty. She did really good on
the drive in and we put Spirit in my bedroom so kitty could get a feel of things, after she had
toured things and ate some we tried introducing them but it didn't go well, they hissed at each
other so new kitty is in the bathroom with door shut and Spirit is coming around. She really
really really didn't like having new kitty in here, she hid 1st in bedroom then in office. She
went walking by the door again just now and they started having a little hissing fit again but
she stopped shortly there after and just sat there for a bit. Then she walked off again, she is
still hissing at me, I am hoping its just cause of other kitties smell on me, I am going to go
take shower and hope she'll let me cuddle her again to help ease things hopefully. My poor poor
baby! I worry for her.
I left new kitty out & kept Spirit in office during 1st break, then when I got off I decided to
leave other kitty free but like 20 min later decided to put Spirit in other room with liter box
and carried her in my arms, we went pass other kitty and Spirit hissed like crazy but new kitty
didn't, just looked kinda scared actually. So new kitty was free and in here for like an hour
and then I put her back in bathroom :( and let Spirit out :) Unfortunatley I think I am
reaction to her, but I did to Spirit in the beginning.
Well I didn't do any workouts, I am kinda upset, thought I would be more upset but not really,
the pain and what not is keeping that at bay. :) Well Spirit still not liking new kitty.
Tomorrow will be another day. I am keeping new kitty out til end of shift now since she'll be
locked up all night...she went potty in her liter box too!!! I am so happy.....how weird does
that sound! :)
day 30 :( :( :(Today totally and completely sucked!!! Its the 1st time since I hit my full work out time that
I have not completed it. The elliptical was being used when I got there so I decided to do
treadmill 1st. I kicked butt at that!! I did 1.6 for 14 min, 1.7 for 13 min, 1.8 for 3 min
going .88. I then did 3 circuits (level 3), then elliptical was being used again so I hemmed
and hawed and decided to do treadmill but when I got on only did 5 min and got .13 but I just
didn't have it in me to continue so I went out and saw elliptical was free so I jumped on but
just didn't have it in me to continue that either so I only did 5 min and got .40. I don't know
what was up, maybe cause it had been so long since I ate, I hope tomorrow is better.
I did get a solid 8 hours in last night and was gonna go in early cause I planned on being
there for Miki in case she needed me to sit with Marli while she went into Chandler's school
for his birthday. But I was all slow mo again so I didn't get there in time, I was gonna at
least get my 1st 30 min in but the why should I mood was on me so I didn't. So I drove around
til time to meet Miki then sat with Marli while in school and then while she went into store
then I went to the gym. Then went out to Miki's and was going to watch show but she decided to
go in and take Chandler to Chinese then we went back out to her place to have birthday cake
then home I came.
I'm gonna be getting another kitty too, she showed up at Miki's and is really friendly and what
not and I just can't let her stay out there in the wilderness with the wild ones. She was
domesticated with a family at one time. I was holding her when Marli starting screaming and
crying and she didn't even react. She is really young too and really skinny! :( But Miki says
she holds her own when the other cats come near the food when she is eating. One problem tho is
she isn't fixed and she is in heat. I'll have to deal with her bleeding, didn't have to deal
with that with Spirit, she went in heat but never bled. I think it'll be a bit more of a battle
to keep her from going outside when I leave. I may try to keep a collar on her just in case.
Uh I was gonna exercise tonight but I got up and did some stuff to kinda get ready for new
kitty but dang was my back twinging. I am getting kinda worried, I didn't do much yet its
hurting.
day 29 Man oh man am I feeling pain tonight! I did kinda good today. I did 30 min elliptical (last 6
w/hands), 3 circuits (level 3), 30 min treadmill (all hands free). My normal 2 treadmills I
like were taken so I had to do one I didn't really like so when they freed up I moved over and
I think that hurt my momentom. I did 2.39 on elliptical and like 70'ish on treadmill but since
I moved I didn't get accurate count. I didn't do bike today and I really should have cause it
would have given me a boost. I never got my high and I think that hurt things. One new goal I
have is to do 3 miles on elliptical in 30 min.
I was going to go out to Miki's to watch a show but since I was a lazy but today and took time
getting ready I wasn't able to so I went to Walgreens and picked up my pictures and rx, then
went to Walmart to get Subway and shopped around some. I still had some time to pass so I went
over to new craft store and walked thru there, some really cool stuff there! :) Then drove
around some more looking for new grocery ads and then went and met Miki for her workout. Little
miss squirrely bob protested to being left in her seat so I brought her upfront and I swear it
was a workout just trying to keep her from hurting herself! :) She was soooo cute tho! :) Then
we went to drop something off for Miki then went and picked up Chandler then grabbed bite to
eat and then I came home to change real quick then went to Chandler's game......where I really
should have bitten the bullet and sat on grass (even tho I would have emberassed myself getting
up) or taken my chair. I spent almost 2 hours standing...now for most that would be no problem
but I have always had a problem standing in place, tho its not as bad as last year when I could
only stand for like 1 hour and was in so much pain I had trouble getting into a vehicle. This
time I was still in pain but seeing all I did before hand and how long I was standing I really
think it was a drop in the bucket! :) Another mark of improvement! :)
But seeing as I got only like 7-8 hours sleep its not surprising how badly I am crashing,
crashing from being tired and has nothing to do with new rx. I know I know everyone says
medication doesn't work that fast but it always has for me. Usually if I don't get solid sleep
for couple of days in a row I have to make up for it (again I know most say you can't do that
but it always works for me) and I haven't had a chance yet, hoping to tonight! :) Oh yeah and I
woke up this morning with flipping charlie horses in both of my feet, on the top of them where
the foot and leg meet.....both flippin feet at same time, I couldn't believe it. I somehow
worked them out and didn't take any quinine, wasn't sure if I could cause of new rx and I
forgot to call pharmacy today to find out dang it.
So even tho I feel like I have been ran over and backed up on repeatedly I look bad on my day
and and and....how do I say it, kinda impressed that I was able to do so much and still be
kicking...light, gentle kicks but still. :) I just hope all this back and feet pain go away by
morning. That was another thing, I had this weird pain I have never had before, ever! It was so
weird, kinda like my ovaries were hurting on both sides, but maybe not my ovaries per se but
like in that general area kinda. You know where you leg and body meet but kinda over a bit more
near your groin. I don't know my mind is shutting down so off to sleepy land for me, hopefully
I'll crash as soon as head hits pillow again like last night. :)
day 28 :)~Dang I have a headache!! Usually means its gonna rain or snow very soon. I could be wrong.
I did good again today, had to majorly push myself again but I did it. :) I did 30 min
elliptical (5 min w/hands), 3 circuits level 3, 30 min treadmill (all w/o hands). I was having
to push myself so hard to finish the elliptical I don't remember how far I wanted to go but it
was more then 2.2 so I'm happy, I couldn't keep it below 29 so I just went with it and kept it
below 35 and then did last 5 with hands and man was I hurting. It wasn't just my legs that were
hurting but my hands too, they're not used to keeping a grip like that anymore and there is no
way I can go handless completely, so I'll just have to find someway of working thru the pain. I
did take a quick 15 sec break x 2, not sure if that helps or not, I did it sat too and still
not sure if helpful or hinderance. I kept wanting to stop but I couldn't make myself do it, I
did 30 min on it sat and I didn't want to go backwards. Took me 1 round of circuit to get my
juices flowing again but finally they kicked in and I started doing the circuit faster. Then on
the to treadmill I went and I think it went a little something like this...:) 1.3 for 3'ish
min, 1.4 for 8'ish min, 1.5 for 9 min, 1.6 for 10 min and did .77 miles. I really wanted to
stop early on this one too but I just kept pushing on and made it to the end, I only looked at
tv a few times, was really having a hard time keeping my rythym even from the beginning so
somehow I made it thru. I realized why I was able to do almost a mile before, because I was
still doing some treadmill in the beginning as well as the end, while I was building up my time
on the elliptical. So I feel so much better about that!!! :)
Man but afterwards while I was waiting for Miki to get done with her workout, little miss Marli
slept thru it all, I got so sleepy, I think I actually did fall asleep for a little bit! Not
even forwarding my photos from my phone to online helped keep me awake, probably cause it takes
so long for the flippin things to download! Then we went to Walgreens to pick up my new rx and
Miki ran in while I waited with Marli girl, I was so bored I was getting tempted to poke her
and try to wake her up so I would have something to do. :) That's a first for me, usually am ok
for just sitting and waiting but I was fighting the sleepy bug. :) Then off to the store we
went (I needed nanners to help, they seem to help with the non cramping energy stuff) and then
back home I came. :) Where I realised I had to fill another rx that I need beginning of next
week. Oy! :) Good thing I go near there 6 days a week. :)
Another example of how working out has helped me, :) I was able to gather the trash, start a
load of laundry, fill drinking bottle, scrape last of snow off deck, took out trash, went potty
and made it back to work on time! All in 15 min, woohoo!! I did gooooood. :) I do believe the
chocolate (dark of course) has hit the system a bit. :) Was hoping it might help with the
headache and I think it did a little. :)
So I had my doctors appointment today and flip did it cost alot!!! Flippin $253! The only
examination she did was checking my heart and my feet and tap my stomach! That was it! I'm like
commmmmeeeeee on! Well I don't know what I was thinking when I went in, I didn't think it would
be as bad of news as it was. :( Nurse was 1st in to take vitals and info and my blood pressure
at that time was 163/95, they took it a 2nd time at end of appointment but I don't know what it
was then. She told me I was anemic and since my monthly is regular now she is worried I may
have a bleed somewhere so she is having me do this test thingy at home to rule out one
possibility. She said my feet were just fine tho, I felt each little poke thingy she did. She
said I really need to get my eyes checked since I haven't had them checked since school and
since I have diabetes I guess it needs done, especially since I get floaters sometimes. She
upped my dosage on my thyroid and blood sugar, and prescribed iron (for my anemia) and blood
pressure pills (guess I am going to try to take them this time). I didn't take the blood
pressure or up the blood sugar pills like doctor suggested 2 years ago cause I thought they
would regulate themselves. But since I have been exercising so this last month and nothing is
happening except getting worse I guess I'll be a good girl and take the stuff. :) I guess my
blood pressure is really bad cause she wants me in again in 2 weeks instead of the 3 months she
was going to do.
I decided tonight not to do my lunch workout. Just didn't feel like it....it might have had
something to do with the fact that I was still watching a movie and didn't want to pause it or
eject it since I only had like 10 minutes left. :) I'm not too bummed about missing it though
because today really sapped me. Don't know if it was the doctors visit or the workout or after
or just that close to the monthly or the little sleep I have been getting lately or all of it.
:) It was weird to actually sit down and watch tv for the rest of my break. Its been awhile
since I have done that. :) Maybe I'll do one after work but my back is twinging a bit so maybe
I'll just rest up for tomorrow. :)
braaaaaiiiiinnnnnsssssWhat have I done today? What oh what have I done today? :) No exercises yet, think I am gonna
have to try to do something on each break and lunch. :) As soon as I got off work I ran out to
Miki's to watch Chandler hunt for eggs and Marli try to help. :) Then came home and crashed til
like 1:30pm then got up and got ready and went out to Mom's for Marli & Chandlers kinda
birthday party. Man I hope my pictures turn out! I got some really cute ones. :) That's why I
need to exercise on all my breaks....those evil cupcakes!!! :)
I did ten minutes on break, kinda a bummer cause its a fun one. :) I only did the rest of the
1st shimmy I started, decided to take a shower instead. Man if I have to get on the scale
tomorrow at the doctors office its gonna be bad, no real consistant exercise and a ton of
calories! :( Maybe I shouldn't worry about it that much since I am so tired....I know I'm
getting all wah wah wah. I think I'll go read. :) Oy I did some exercise but not much. I think
I am just to dang tired! I have a feeling as soon as my head hits pillow I am going to be out
like a light.
I was gonna write more about the little birthday party but just don't have it in me. :)
day 27 :) yeahYessss!!! I did it again!! Majorly kicked butt today!!! I did all 30 min elliptical (no hands
tho), 3 circuits level 3, 30 min treadmill (all hands free), 6 min bike. On elliptical did 2.2
miles, on circuit 1 of the in place things I did step thing on the actual step thing, on
treadmill I did 1.3 mph for 3 min and 1.4 for 12 min and 1.5 for 13 min and 1.6 for last 2 min
and did .75 miles, on bike I did 1st 3 min @ 10-11 mph, then 2 min @ 11-12 mph and then 1 min
at 13 mph and pretty sure I made it little over 1 mile but battery went out so don't know
exactly. I don't if it was just cause I was tired that I was able to push thru everything or
what but I was even able to do treadmill without tv but there was no way I woulda been able to
do elliptical without it, needed that extra distraction. I also wonder if part of the reason I
have been able to kick butt last 2 days was because I have started stretching before and after,
nothing that complicated really, just few simple ones but it seems to help so far.
Then I went out to Miki's and helped her get ready for birthday party for little ones and had
supper then came home. Man am I wiped!!! What I wouldn't give for like 8 hours sleep. :) I have
just been getting like 4-5 hours sleep last couple of bit. Mon night I should be able to get
it. I think it'll help that I am not actually working out tomorrow, even though only getting
same amount of sleep, but for fun stuff, not exercise. :)
I just saw other entry from yesterday and I have no idea why I didn't get more done on
treadmill, I was wondering that when I got done today.
day 26 can't keep me downWowser!!! I did it again and seriously kicked butt again today!! :) I did 21 min on elliptical
(no hands today), 9 min treadmill at 1.5 (all hands free), 3 circuits at level 3, 30 min bike
(all hands free) (1st 10 min at 1.3, 2nd 10 min at 1.4, 3rd 10 min at 1.5), 5 min bike. I did
1.61 miles on elliptical, almost 1 mile on treadmill (.98), 1 mile on bike. It was totally
awesome on the bike! I couldn't keep it below 12 then 13, when I got done I almost had a
charlie horse cause I did so much and it was a weird one, stretching from my right inner thigh
to my calf! I did some stretches though and it went away. It used to take me the whole 30 min
to get to a mile on the bike, my next goal for miles is 2 miles on elliptical in 30 min and 1
mile on treadmill in 30 min. I'm getting closer :) I can't use my hands when I treadmill
anymore because it actually seems harder that way. :) The weekend girl was there again today,
the one that talks on her cell phone all time, I guess she is nice enough I just think its
kinda rude to talk so much on your cell phone and to disapear alot of the time to do it, plus
she had a guy come in for like 20-30 min talking to her to....I was like FOR WOMEN, no men!! :)
She did turn the circuit voice right up when I asked her to. Oh yeah there is this two stations
(same thing) where you step up on these exercise step things that I haven't been able to do,
still not ready to do them cause I push myself so much doing anything like that is a little
dangerous for me cause I am not all with it, but anyways....:) I figured out that instead of
just standing there and kinda walking in place really fast I can step up on the side of it, its
like only an inch or 2 high and its this kinda wooden bouncy thingy. :) So it'll give me some
more variance and keep me entertained a bit more. :) Next month I'll be trying to do the
stationary stair climber thingy backwards. :)
Then afterwards I went to Chinese with Miki/Chandler/Marli and after that went to Walmart.
Walked a bunch, and held Marli inside and walked some, then walked outside holding her too to
Miki's van, man what a workout. You know how hard it is to push a cart with one hand that has a
6 year old in it with a bunch of soda and hold baby in other hand!! :) But thanks to the
workouting I have been doing I recovered really quick! Then I decided to hit the dollar store
for gift bags today instead of tomorrow since I'll be going out to Miki's after I get done with
my workout. :) Then came home and wasn't going to but I took Spirit out for a walkey walk for
like 10-20 min and was going to shovel what little snow is on deck and in driveway but just too
wiped! I had to do extra stuff today cause I binged last night on rice krispie treats. Though I
would be safe with them in house since only 90 calories but no such luck, had to give them to
Miki. :) Apparantley they are my one huge weekness!!! :( I'm already debating wether or not to
have any cupcakes on Marli/Chandlers birthdays, cause last time I went out and got a tiny cake
after having some of Chandlers cause I just couldn't stop myself. Ugh! This eating healthy and
acting like an adult sucks!!!!! :)
Little Marli is getting so big and can do stuff on her own now. :) She turns 1 year old on
Sunday, wow time flies! When we went to the chinese restraunt she got to sit in a little high
chair by herself. :) She out grew her 1st carseat/carrier. Kinda a bummer cause it was so handy
to just grab the whole thing and leave her strapped in and off you go. :) Soon she's gonna be
walking and really getting into all sorts of trouble. I really started getting healthy at a
good time cause Miki will really need help rangling this one in. :) Plus Chandler is turning 6
on Wednesday so she already has her hands full with him. :)
day 25I did really good today again. Not as woohoo energy wise but oh well. :) I did 11 min (rested
15 sec), did 6 min (rested 15 sec), did 1 last min with hands on elliptical (total 18 min), 12
min treadmill at 1.4, 3 circuits at level 3, 30 min treadmill with all but like 2-3 min hands
free while I tried to find something on tv to watch. :) I did last like 15 min on treadmill at
1.4. I really really wanted to keep pushing on elliptical til 20 min but I just didn't have it
in me. That's why the last 1 min cause I was gonna try to push thru but, uh, just couldn't. :(
But adding 3 min to my time ain't bad. :) All but 1 machine on circuit I am doing at 3, that's
the like stepping in place one, I tried 3 and I could barely move the pedals.
The other day I was swinging my arms and accidently pulled the little tag thingy that stops the
treadmill IMMEDIATLEY! Luckily I somehow grabbed the sides before slamming one way or the other
but let me tell you what! If you are not expecting it, it is a very big startle! :) I am
thinking of adding bike at end of my workout, I think it worked my calves, thighs more then
stuff I am doing. I was going to today but for some reason my calves were already hurting some
so I'll wait. Not sure when I am going to start doing it, I am hoping tomorrow but since it
will be at end and not part of normal workout I'll just have to see. Only going to start like
at 2-5 min, like in the beginning. So before workout it shows I have lost 7 pounds, after
workout it shows 10 pounds. :) I don't think I'll be loosing anymore til after I see doctor and
get stuff straightened out, its been like that for a few days.
So I was gonna do a quick shimmy like an hour after I got home because I kinda had the energy
too but since I went in so early I got home kinda early so I decided to take a quick nap but
didn't have much hope of going to sleep cause I was so flippin cold! Well surprise surprise I
conked out in like 10-20 min I think & slept hard and woke up all alert, partly probably cause
kitty came in and got under the top cover. I thought about trying to go back to sleep when I
thought I should check time to see how much time I had left.....it was 4:04pm!!! I had
forgotten to set the flippin alarm! Luckily I got shoved back 15 min today so I didn't have to
work til 4:15pm! Talk about lucky! Man oh man oh man I so lucked out!
Did a shimmy on my lunch and it was fun. :) Except I think I kept doing this turn wrong, since
I was turning I couldn't watch them and wanted to keep going so I just did them however so I
could keep moving. :)
day 24 :) Today kicked booootie!!!! (good bootie, not bad) I did great & feel good too :) I did 15 min
elliptical with last 4 min with hands, 15 min treadmill (with hands just cause I was using
different mach), then 4 circuits, 30 min treadmill with almost 20-25 min without hands. I am up
to 1+ miles on elliptical and 1+ miles on treadmill (before/after combined). I figured out how
to work the possessed fan too. :) You have to prop it back against the shelving unit in the
room otherwise it gives the ceiling all the air. :) I am thinking of starting to put the level
of the circuit to 3, I have been doing the easy route and keeping it at 2 and just added the
extra circuit but I realized the other day that the only way I will get them to higher settings
is to push it just like I did the the bike/treadmill/elliptical. I have been wimping out on
them I think cause I have been focusing on the before and after more but I really can't skip
the middle, being a little to lazy with it.
Then went to Walmart for Easter/birthday gifts and also to Walgreens to finish it up. Then home
to shower and quick bite to eat then off to Miki's to watch movies (actually only got to watch
one there) and have supper. Now I am home and writing this up real quick before watching
another movie. When I got home, well let me tell you before that 1st. When I came home to
shower/eat Spirit was going bonkers and really wanted to go out, so I tried to take her out but
she just wouldn't let me put the harness on her so I gave up and went out to Miki's. I left the
window open for her though so when I got home she had a visitor outside the window, I took
pictures on my cell phone but not sure if you can tell, I was able to get kinda close to her so
hopefully you'll be able to see Spirit sitting there in the window with her. :)
Lab results info, kinda. Glucose went down 3 points in 2 months but its still too high. Calcium
went down .3 so started taking extra calcium pill in am. Total protein dropped only .1 in last
2 months but its getting too low, getting close to the warning cut off place so kinda worried.
Some test about liver has gone down below low point but it only speaks of if high in pamphlet
so now sure what it means if too low. Cholestrol went down 20 points in 2 months and is
actually lower then it was 2 years ago too. :) Triglycerides have gone up 5 points (thats bad)
and pamphlet says something to do with stored energy. Tsh/thyroid test has gone up 3.02 which
is very bad since I have been taking rx and it should be lowering. I'll find out monday how
worried and what can be done about it.
So I actually get do get to bed kinda early last night but had trouble going to sleep so like
an hour later I hear this noise that kinda sounds like someone at the windows or something. So
I start to kinda panic and go and turn on the outside lights and don't see any tracks anywhere
so I figure since there are no human tracks right outside the windows I wouldn't worry so much
but I go to bathroom and little miss follows me in and starts staring and sniffing like at the
edge of the wall where it meets the floor and her poor tale is allll poofed out. So she keeps
running from the bathroom to the kitchen or something and back and like the 3rd trip her back
starts poofing up too, so I know I wasn't just hearing things. Well after I flushed the toilet
it must have scared whatever was down there cause I only heard it like one more time and then
nothing. Still have no idea what it could have possibly been. :)
Well I did my evening shimmy....it was ok. I think I did too much today cause doing the hip
pops started making my back hurting whenever I turned a certain way but I kept going thru it
and just kept from popping them. Its still kinda fun :) Just didn't have it in me today to do 2
bouts of it though, just kinda worn and tired still. Looking back to 1st paragraph I wrote way
back then I was like....dang that was today, seems like yesterday!
day 23 - shot me pleaseToday was bad bad bad! I felt so weak during all the exercising it was bad. I kept pushing
myself tho, I thought about not and stopping but I just couldn't. I wanted to keep going
andfinish it, too worried if I give myself an out once I may do it again and again and again. I
did 12 min elliptical, 18 min treadmill, 4 circuits, 30 min bike. I was thinking about pushing
myself to 15 on the elliptical but the fan wasn't hitting me enough and I think that is part of
the problem, I get overheated and just loose all my energy. I did kick butt keeping my hands
off the sides on the treadmill tho! It just didn't feel right to have them on, so I think it
was 12 min 1st time and a good 15-20 min last time. I didn't use the hands today cause I just
didn't have it in me, hopefully tomorrow I'll be a little better, but with my pre-monthly
kicking in I just don't know.
I then went to Godfather's for lunch with Miki/Chandler/Marli, I kept myself from eating to
overly much I think, I so wanted more! Then off to get taxes done then I dragged myself to drop
of movies and go to post office. Finally got home again then checked e-mail and crashed, had
some weird dreams :) Dawn woke me up, which was a good thing since I really needed to get some
food and water in me, and we played a game and now I have a bit of a headache. I got some food
and chocolate and more water in me now so I am feeling a little more energy, I think.
Okay, I am so trying to not use the & button and the - button, trying to get more into the flow
of writing in book format, but dang is it hard. Trying to remember little english rules and
stuff, I'm gonna have to polish up on the finer stuff once I stop using those 2 buttons. :)
(and periods) Just so used to doing it for work that in normal writing I find myself doing it
too and I don't like how it looks really.
Oh man I just realized I haven't done my nightly exercise. Just sitting here my back is hurting
so I think I will skip it, trying not to skip my nightlies but I am always so worried when my
back hurts too much cause I don't want to go back to how I was! Also now that I don't use the
hands on the elliptical my back doesn't hurt like it was starting to when I started using it,
hopefully once I have built up to 30 min on it and start using the hands my back will not put
up as much fuss, I might have to build up using them like everything else tho. I do believe
even tho I already had a nap I will be going to bed early'ish tonight. Still don't feel 100%.
day 22 :) Yeah! Today was a great day of exercising! :) I did 10 min on elliptical with last 30 sec using
the arms, then did 20 min on treadmill with 12 min without hands, then 4 circuits, then 30 min
treadmill with I think like 5-10 min without hands. I now at least get 1 mile in a day :) I
don't go below 1.3 now when I walk & I did last 10 min at 1.4. I actually felt good after &
still had energy :)
Got my blood tests back - some lowered, especially my cholestrol, but some went up from 2
months ago, my thyroid & something else. Made an appointment but earliest is next monday. Not
too worried especially now that I am counting my calories I'm loosing weight again :)
I don't want to jinx myself but I hoping I figured out why my jaw/teeth would hurt so much last
week & some twinges still. Because I would work out & sweat would get in my ear & I would
forget all about it so I wouldn't cotton swab them so it caused problems. Never even thought
about doing that before but it seems to be better now.
Well I did my lunch workout & it was a good shimmy one :) The other one last night wasn't all
that great but it made up for it tonight :)
Sunday report captainDon't know why but I woke up after only like 5-6 hrs of sleep & was ready to go go go :) Might
have something to do with soda I had last night. Had to tho cause I was going on 2 days without
caffeine & didn't have any made & wasn't in mood to :) So I made some lists, cut my toenails
then went out & did a quick 20 min of shovelling, then came in & started dishes (got 1/2 way
thru), started tea, made taco stuff for this week, washed my hair, and made myself a
cheeseburger. :) Now I am working :)
I realized that on the days I am blah I actually seem to have an easier time exercising. Not
sure why, maybe cause my brain has kinda shut down & I am just going thru the motions. Its
kinda nice but I hope I don't do it to often cause if I loose control of my urges too much then
I'll stop going, & I so don't want to do that! I like going to the gym, I am really looking
forward to going tomorrow. I coulda gone today but I just had too much to do at home.
Shoot the boot, I was gonna finish this hours ago but got caught up in a book :) I did a shimmy
workout on my lunch, wasn't really much, at least it really didn't seem like it. I got my
dishes done too on my last break :)
I thought it was pretty funny yesterday on Encore or whatever movie channels I get had
Enchanted & then right after had Pretty Woman.....pg & r happily ever afters huh? :)
It is still hard for me to realize I will have gone to gym only 22 days in last month, but
seeing as of sunday it will have been officially a month I have gone & besides the sundays that
I don't go to anyways cause I really can't, I only purposely took 1 day off & that was the 1st
saturday after starting. The others were flippin snow days!! :) But I still love the snow :) So
I guess officially after a month I have only missed 11 days...I think :) Well I have finally
warmed up so off to bed I go I guess :)
another snow dayI've started counting my calories - I am partially hoping that was part of the problem with not
loosing weight cause thurs was 1st day & I couldn't believe how many I had last only part way
thru day. I am hoping the way it goes now is you times whatever weight you want to be at by 10
& that is how many calories you are supposed to have a day. I remember in junior high I think
it was like 1,500 cal but I think I read somewhere the average nowadays is like 3,000. I am
going to try to keep it between 2,000-2,500 til I hear otherwise but dang am I hungry. I wasn't
too bad when I got off shift last night but woke up today with my stomach almost growling &
after I got done with my workout it was growling. I did eat something before hand but not as
much as I usually do, but it wasn't much less so I was kinda surprised. I am sucking down more
water last few days but I swear it doesn't help, when my stomach is empty its like I can feel
it hit it & its not a happy stomach :) I figure on my graves I'll just have to do a cut off of
recording at midnight cause otherwise I have no idea how to record fri/sat graves :)
Oy! I had a scare tonight, I left my laptop on away from me for like an hour & I come in &
there is this bar on the start menu that has this little alien looking dude on it. So I cut off
the internet connection right away & hit ctrl/alt/dlt to get task manager but it goes away, it
does it again while I am running a security check & again goes away. Well I keep the task
manager up & next time it happens I hit the task manager & message comes up saying having
trouble with screensaver have to close program....I was like oh please oh please oh please let
that be the problem! So I try running it again as a preview & same thing happens, so luckily
that was the problem!!!! But dang do I need to back everything up! :)
My right side of my teeth have been hurting. I am kinda concerned cause it usually only happens
when its close to or on that time of the month & I am not due to even start thinking about it
for a few more days & its been happening already for a few days. I hope its not because of all
the working out I am doing cause I don't want to stop! I like how I am feeling nowadays :)
I think I kinda realized why I was so tired last few days/week - I realized I wasn't really
having any protein or meat meat really. I would have some meat w/breakfast sandwiches (which I
am so not having anymore since so high in cal), lunchmeat & some flippin hot dogs that are
hard, not soft like normal.
When I got off work today I noticed it had snowed so I did some quick shovelling, I was kinda
wishing I could do more but since I was still planning on going to the gym later I decided to
just go to sleep. When I woke up my hopes of going to the gym today were banished. It had
snowed too much so when I got up I went-a-shovelling. I did a little bit extra so I could round
it up to 45 min. Hopefully I'll be able to do some work out videos later today too :) Yoohoo I
did it - 2 videos - 1 exercise & 1 shimmy. I didn't want to finish last one but I pushed thru
it :)
Man I woke up sun sunday resting & just feel blah! Hopefully this will pass cause it just
sucks! :)
day 21 - it can't be only that manyI come in & left the door open so Spirit can play with the snow & I sit down to do e-mail &
stuff & I notice out of the side of my eye that the door is closing. I look over & Spirit is
stalking the door, like it is playing with her :) It was so cute :) She must have nudged it
walking by & it was just at that place where it closed itself :)
I did so much better today then I though it would! I so didn't want to go today, I almost tried
to talk Miki into going somewhere for lunch instead :) But poor little Marli was not a happy
camper today so she just went home, I felt so bad she wasted that time and gas for nothing :(
So I made myself go in while she left and was debating up to the moment I got on the elliptical
on whether or not I would do it. I just felt so drained & & & & what's the word.....not weak
like but no energy, oy! That's it, man yesterday by the time I wrote about the day my vocab &
talking was gone, and today isn't that better, well maybe a little. I wasn't going to do more
than 5 min but luckily I didn't use the hands so I was able to make it to 7 min, I thought
about doing more but as lackluster as I felt I thought better not. So I did 7 min elliptical,
then 23 bike (with 6 min hands free), then 4 circuits, then 30 min treadmill.
Little pain is so cute :) I get up from my evening saturday rest & open the screen door to make
sure I could cause of the snow, I so don't want to get stuck so bad I can't even open the
screen door again, :) I had shoed her away from the door so I could do this so she wouldn't try
to get out. As soon as I was shutting the door she all runs to the opening & I quickly tried
shutting the door and that usually makes her stop but not tonight, she kept going so I had to
gently shut her neck in the door & with one hand I grabbed her body & the other pushed the door
open & grabbed her. Man does she love that snow :)
day 20 - pushing thruToday went good :) I got up & went & got my blood drawn & it actually went quick & smooth this
time. Only poked me once & moved needle over once & then she got it. Unforunately since I
changed the time to go get my blood drawn it threw everything else off so I had to wear wet
pants to gym :) At least they weren't soaking & got to dry a little :) I've lost 6 inches total
body but my neck & forearms increased a little bit & I only lost 3 lbs since 1st weigh in.
I had to start by doing 5 min on bike, since elliptical was being used, then I did 5 min on the
elliptical & last 20 of start on treadmill, then did 4 circuits & 30 min treadmill. Man it
isn't til the last 10-20 min that things get easier. I'd even upped my speed last 15 min or so
to 1.4 & the 1st treadmill going I did 3 min without holding onto anything & On that 5 min on
bike I had speed up to 11 already by end of 5 min :) Only problem with I am having is that my
throat is doing the beginnings of being sick kinda. I keep coughing every once in awhile so
that's one reason I am glad to be going to doctor soon, maybe she can tell me if something is
wrong cause sometimes when I have really pushed myself like today kinda my neck/throat throbs -
kinda worried about that.
I came home & took Spirit out for a little walkie before Miki came over to clip her nails &
that was like all I did til now - now I am work & kinda got a headache - probably cause its
kinda warm although my feet are cold.
I really didn't want to work out on my lunch but I did...unfortunately I am totally upset! I
somehow erased the one video I really really like, although I just realized I did record it
onto disc - its just not the same :) The one I did wasn't that bad tho I guess :(.....:)

day 19 - 1 month'ish downI was going to the bathroom & little miss was in the sink next to me when my screensaver came
up it was talking & she totally freaked out :) She goes running to the window to try to find
what was making the noise then she figured it out & must have touched the keyboard cause it
stopped :) She was all meowing the whole time too :)
I did good again too, got a new goal to work to so its gonna be hard :) I did 4 min on
elliptical & 26 min to finish my 30 min then 3 circuits then 30 min treadmill with 2 min no
hands. It still dragged a bit & I was dreading my last treadmill workout. I almost didn't even
finish it, Miki was coming in after me but I didn't get there on time so I was running late &
luckily she had an idea so I was able to finish my workout, at the time I started my second 15
min I was kinda bummed I had to continue but at the end I was so glad I finished it - had the
good feel high going :) Although after that 1st elliptical & treadmill my back was really kinda
hurting & twinging but after the 1st circuit it went away & didn't come back after the 2nd
treadmill - it must be the elliptical, probably cause I use my arms also when I don't have to
but I want as much workout as possible :)
I put on a shirt today before the work out that was kinda tight before & it wasn't then & then
later tonight I put another couple on that fit better too. So even tho I am not loosing weight
I am loosing size or something. I'm going to get another blood test tomorrow so I can go see
the doctor again cause I mean come on I know the weight isn't going to melt off over night or
anything but only like 5 lbs in a month. There's gotta be something wrong. I get weighed &
measured by the trainer tomorrow so I'll see if I am loosing inches or if its just in my head.
Either way I am really trying hard not to get upset about it cause I am feeling better with
more energy & able to do some stuff easier.
So I did 2 shimmies in a row tonight - close to an hour work. My back was kinda twinging during
it also but not surprising considering the hip movements & the chest ones too :) But I am kinda
liking it - I did the 1st one again tonight after a new one & I did a little better I think :)
I just keep telling myself not to compare myself to the skinnies doing the shimmies :)
day 18 uh!Dang!!!! I am finally home! Man am I hurting & tired & what am I doing???? Playing literati

I got up around 10am today then got things together & stuff & finally got out the door about
11:30am. Had a huge list to do today since so much snow lately & supposed to have snow again
tomorrow & more this weekend. So I started off my going to the post office but since they were
busy I went to the bank 1st then went back to the post office & actually got thru pretty quick
then went to city hall to get a rx card that is supposed to help from the city...unfortuanetly
the 1st one I tried there was none off on it. Then I started to head to Walgreens to get my
script and Miki called so I turned around & since she wasn't up at court house to do her errand
I stopped at thrift store real quick, didn't find any flippin thing, and then went up & sat
with Marli while she went in to do her thing.
Off to the gym we went & I stayed with Marli again while she worked out & both times I pretty
much stayed by her & played with her :) After she came out I went in & man oh man did I have a
hard flippin time! I did around 30 min on the bike (don't know for sure since time shorted out
but 97% sure it was 30) then off to circuit & I did 2 or 3 circuits & asked Kahleah to show me
how to do elliptical.....can you say HARD!?!? It always looks so easy but man is it hard! I
only lasted 3 min, she said she could only start out at 3 min also. Then back to do another
circuit or 2, don't remember the number I did exactly but I did enough. I was totally worried I
woiuldn't be able to do anything since all 3 treadmills were busy, I started to do bike for
last bit but I just couldn't do it. I was in such pain at the end of the bike time I almost
quit so many times. But I just couldn't handle the bike again so I got up to left but luckily
everyone had left the bikes so I was able to do the treadmill but I don't know why, maybe the
elliptical but I was only able to do 15 min of it. It was just to much for me....maybe it had
something to do with the fact I raised my speed up too :) Oh yeah I learned new position on one
of the stations too which was kinda cool :)
Finally got out of the gym & got rx & then went & got alot of cards for...you know bdays &
stuff, then off to the grocery store. Went & got money order for rent just in time I think,
really close to 5pm then I got 2 movies & off to drop off my rent. Although I did break down &
on way to drop it off I stopped off at Wendy's & got a quick burger cause I was really failing.
But I only got 1 & that was it & off I go again. I didn't make it in time to drop it off in her
hand but I did put it in their slot so if can't get out by next Sun its all good :) Almost done
I go & fill up my big water bottle and stop & grab ads & then finally, finally, finally off to
home I go!
I get home & had to face bringing everything in....& very weirdly I got everything to porch &
in front of porch & for some reason decided to shovel some. See I wasn't able to shovel earlier
cause I had so much to do & just wanted to get going! Man am I completely flippin drained! Also
kinda bummed cause I haven't lost any weight. I am gonna have to go get my blood drawn on thurs
so I can make appointment for new doctor to figure out why I'm not loosing more weight cause I
am up to 1 1/2 hrs working out. I am noticing difference in endurance but thats it.
sun & snow daySunday before work I did 2 work out videos back to back - ouchie! :) Just not the same as the
gym but I felt it :) I didn't do all the 2nd video cause I already did most of it in 1st one &
since I don't normally work my stomach it was hurting a bit & felt like it was getting ready to
cramp. I shoulda done more on my lunch but decided to wash hair instead :)
So I woke up to it snowing again today & once again I have mixed feelings! I love love love the
snow but hate that once again it kept me from the gym! Not to mention I am running low on
fridge/freezer food, I'll be fine I got makeable stuff but I put off going to store last couple
of days & am paying for it now.....not to mention no MOVIES!!!!!! I am going to just have to
pay for it tomorrow cause I can't go any longer...I mean cooooommmmeeee on!!!!! I spoiled
myself I'll admit it :)
I woke up today with kitty sleeping behind my legs & little pain wouldn't get up so I had to
lift my legs a little too much & had a flippin charlie horse in my left inner thigh & right
foot. Luckily I had quinine pills by bed for if that happened again (same thing happened couple
of months ago) and it actually went away pretty quick. Maybe it helped I have been working out
more too - who knows! When I got back to bedroom from going too the bathroom the little sweety
was still laying - gave me this where you been look - she was sooo cute! :)
So far I have done 45 min of shovelling & nothing else - I am hoping to do some excercise on my
lunch but I don't know - I'll have to just wait & see :) While I was shovelling I saw this poor
puppy out walking on the train tracks while it was blowing snow - I really hope he wasn't lost
:(
I noticed another bonus of working out - I can talk in longer sentences at work now :) &
sometimes you gotta say alot in one sentence cause that's all the people will give you :)
Holy batgirl, batman! Have you ever tried to just move your chest!?!? Its like really flippin
hard!!! :) I did the Shimmy work out on my lunch & it was ok - not my favorite....yet. It
teaches you belly dancing moves - its kinda cool. I didn't feel as much....I don't know what
you call it - muscle burn maybe? But it was interesting & I felt it in my arms cause you have
to keep them up most of the time & my back is twinging kinda but that is probably also cause of
the shovelling I did either, wasn't exactly careful while I was doing it (the shovelling). My
calves are kinda burning :) I will definitely be recording more of them - although it did take
me awhile to catch on for some of them but I think that is normal :)
I always wonder if my memories are my memories or something I read from somewhere. Like I know
the one I just had was a memory - of those little fish crackers - I remember getting them from
this nice couple when I tried walking home one day in Texas. He was with some police thingy or
else I wouldn't have been stupid enough go with him :) I really wish my memory was better.
day 17Woohoo I did it again!!! I reached my goal again!!! I did 30 min bike & 3 circuits & 30 min
treadmill. I think as long as I can get pass the 1st 10-15 min I can push thru last of it. My
inner thighs were killing me that 1st 10-15 min on the bike but I think I got used to it & was
able to put it to the back of my mind :) My calves aren't hurting like before so I have either
gotten used to it or sitting the way I do now helps :) I think I may have lost another lb or
two - I gotta start working out at home also. I am kinda disappointed I am not loosing more but
I think part of it it that I am just not drinking water like I should. I have been trying to
watch what I eat & trying to eat better but I guess not enough. I'll know if there is any
change on thurs but I don't think so. I just don't have the high I normally have afterwords. I
think it maybe because this is the 2nd Sat that I have had to do without the circuit voice. I
even asked the girl to turn it on & she was all it is on & pushed some buttons & then walked
away....it still wasn't on. I finish & go to the treadmill & like 5-10 min later another lady
goes in & the flippin thing starts going really loud. I so don't like the attitude of the
weekend girls.
So I came home & figured it was a good idea to get my trash can out now since its supposed to
snow again on Sun & I don't know how much or anything. I pushed myself a bit too much I think
cause I am tiiiiired!! Of course I shoulda come in & rested & ate something before doing it but
I just wanted to get it done.
Man I was having such trouble staying awake the last hour or so of work this morning, oy I had
to have some hard sugar & even that wasn't working to overly well. I have no idea what did it
either, I was fine the rest of the time but that last bit just sucked!! :)
day 16Well today went good - wasn't up to writing about it now but oh well :) I rocked doing 25 min
bike & 3 circuits & 25 on treadmill. I've realised on the bike (hopefully this keeps ringing
true) that if I stay below 10 mph (or whatever its called) for the 1st 10 min then below 11 mph
the next 10 min my legs/feet don't cramp up & hurt. After 20 min I just let it go tho & got it
up to 13 mph :) I was hurting some but when it gets close to the end time I can't stop myself
from speeding up, I don't know why or how but it is hard for me to control it. I am slowly
upping my treadmill speed to, that's a little harder cause its at the end of my workout & I am
kinda drainish by then. I have been trying to start walking without holding the sides of the
treadmill too, I got up to 2 min of doing it but today I bombed & only went like 1 min, I got
distracted by something & lost my concentration. I find I go slower when I hold on so not
holding on is kinda tough but I am working on it :) I am walking faster tho, except at end I
felt myself trying to slow down but kept pushing thru til the end :) I am thinking of adding
another circuit round on - I need some more challenge :) Although the trainer said once I make
it up to 30 min on bike she would start me on the elliptical....you know that one that has
seperate foot & arm thingies that move. Some chick was on it the other day & said it was really
hard so I am looking forward to it :)
So today was the 1st day I left the house since last Sat & I almost didn't get out. I think my
tires were still frozen to the ground! It took me a little while to get the ice & snow to let
me go :) Then I backed into the snow pile behind me, didn't do any damage tho :) But now I am a
little worried cause when I pulled in to fill my big water jug the van started vibrating, I
turned off the car & when I started it back up it was fine & it was fine on ride home. Hope it
didn't hurt anything getting out of driveway today. It is so cool to be driving with all these
big piles of snow on the sides of the roads :) Most of them are the whole expanse of road &
about to van window height or taller - its just kinda surreal you know :) If I was an artist I
would soooo paint them :)
I am going flippin stir crazy!!!!!! As of Sat it will be a whole flippin week without having
any movies!!!!!!!!!!!!! I couldn't even send the netflix back til yesterday (thurs)! I had to
miss free movie mon & wed & it really sucks cause I know there are a few new ones I really
would have loved to get.....although the netflix filler guy probably wasn't able to get the new
movies or fill the machines so I keep trying to console myself with that :) Hopefully it won't
snow too much this weekend so I can get some movies on Mon when free day rolls around
again...as long as I remember. I keep forgetting :) Going to gym everyday but sun makes the
days all flow into one, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, its actually been kinda nice.
I don't know what to think of a comment I had today. The trainer and I were talking & she was
saying how everyone commented she looked so different or something like that & I said I never
recognize anyone but everyone recognizes me & she said its cause I haven't changed that
much....I've gained like 100 pounds & feel different, I think. She said its cause I have no
wrinkles but I mean come on a few wrinkles doesn't change someones appearance does it. I don't
know its kinda thrown me for a tailspin kinda. I guess I really haven't changed...have I. Oy I
so gotta stop thinking about it cause its just....oy! Off to reading I go!
day 15 back on trackWell I didn't write about yesterday cause I really didn't do squat! I shovelled a little bit &
got myself completely dug out - maybe a total of 1hr of stuff but that's it - didn't even do
any exercise videos. So needless to say I had lost my momentum....hard! I had dishes & clothes
& hair to do & just didn't have it in me to do, plus I just didn't eat that much either - not
as bad as before but not as good as I was doing either. I even had hard sugar which I haven't
had in like forever!
So I thought today would be totally hard & kick my butt but it wasn't at all. The bike was a
breeze & I got it up to 23.30 & did 3 circuits & 23.30 on bike. I was hurting at end of bike &
not like normal unfortunately, this was actual pain. My back started acting up like before but
I pushed thru to my upped up time & sat down to wait for Miki for a bit & when I got back up
like a min later it was better....okay lets backtrack. I started out today by getting a call
from Miki a little before 9am asking if I wanted to get picked up & taken to the gym....I soooo
didn't want to try to get the van out of the little whole I had dug out of it so I say yeah.
Luckily I had gotten myself to bed kinda early last night, around 2am - I know doesn't sound
early does it? :) So I climb out of bed & jump in shower & get ready....& somehow remember to
grab this list I made in my head of stuff to take after I woke up. So I went to the gym while
she went shopping then we went to Applebeeeeees! :) Hadn't been out in like forever to eat so I
really enjoyed it - only ate 1/2 of quasadilla burger cause it is messy messy messy....but oh
so good! :) Then we went out to Miki's to drop off her groceries & see how bad the roads were
by then & holy toledo klinger! I am soooo beyond glad I don't live way out in the boonies! Even
the highway out to there had you holding your breath in a few places, then 1st dirt road wasn't
that bad but then 2nd one got worse....didn't help the wind kept blowing so it would keep
whiting everything out. There was one...actually 2 corners where you just oh so happy there
wasn't another car you met up with cause it woulda been trouble. So we make it back in & do
some other errands & pick up Chandler early from school cause of the roads & I came home &
checked e-mail then laid down to recharge my energy. Very amazingly I fell asleep - it was only
for like 1/2 hr but I woke up kinda refreshed & it seemed like a new day as I started work :)
But luckily I can feel my energy & what not rebuilding itself back up to how it was before not
working out for 4 days cause I already started one load of laundry before work & I'll be
starting the 2nd on break & getting the dishes in soapy water too! :)
Oh yeah I had forgotten to put up my screen window in the screen door. Its this weird one that
you either have the screen down or the window up - you never have them at same time...wellll it
totally didn't click about it being down til I opened up the door that blizzardy day & saw all
the snow inside the door!!! I was like oooopppsss. So I rigged something up that I thought
would help it....oops I forgot to say I tried to push the window up & it went up a ways but the
screen popped out on the sides from the cold & snow so that'll need fixed :( What was I
saying....oh yeah so I was all like - that should fix the snow coming in but it turns out that
wasn't the cause. It was from the screen door not closing all the way on the bottom of the
screen door. The trying to close it all the way I pulled the top half like in pass the door jam
& had a heck of a time pushing it back out, of course this was all while it was
blowing/snowing/freezing. It like automatically rolled itself back up the next day so all I had
to do was shut the window rest of the way, but dang was it hard - had to try couple of times.
And on a side note, if you notice letters missing its not cause I am being a dork & missing
them, its cause I don't always look at screen while typing & keyboard messes up sometimes &
doesn't always register the letters - very very irritating! :)
Man you should see some of piles snow on the sides of the streets - taller then a van in some
places, didn't see the piles in Albertson's parking lot - that's usually as tall as the
buildings around it when it snows alot :) Really makes me wish I was a kid again to go climb
them! :)
BlizzardlySo far I have been 12 hrs - count them 12 flippin hrs without internet/cable/phone. Now the
phone isn't so bad because I have my cell phone & let me tell you how happy I am I kept that!!
The cable I am not even missing all that much, except when the dvr's recorded shows don't come
up, then I am not happy! :) But the flippin internet!?!?!?!?!? Talk about torture!!! I keep
hoping it'll come back up but nooooooo!!!!! Arrggghhhh! Not like I have so much to do on the
internet but time would go so much better if I was on the internet! Oh well :) At least I got
most of my shows watched :)
I have some wicked cool pictures of today - in one, I'm hoping you can tell, It looks like its
during the day & not 1am! :)
So I guess I shoulda started out by saying we are in the middle of a blizzard. Started out with
rain about 1am Mon morning. I wake up around 7am & power is out, so I get up to check things
out. Boy or boy had it been busy by that point alone. So I waited til like 8:30am & went out &
started shoveling....wanted to do all I normally do but even by that point the snow was getting
deep so all I did was on the porch from the door to the steps & down the steps & some of the
cement in front of the steps. Walked over to the car & thought about making a path to it &
behind it but I was like surely it won't go on much longer! :) I so wish I had taken a picture
then so I could so the progression :) So I come back in & check on Miki & them & like a good
girl I called work cause I wasn't sure of the power/cable/internet situation then went back to
bed. Work called to see if I would be on or not & I said we better just have someone cover it
cause I didn't know & blizzard warning was in effect til 12pm tues (so glad I did that!) So I
had today off! :) Psshhhh not that I've really done anything today! :) So I fell back asleep &
Miki called & told me no worries they were over at mom & dad's cause they have a generator -
which I am soooo relieved about! Kinda worried me them being out there in this stuff with no
power! So I decide to get up & see what the situation was & lo n behold it was still going! :)
(I know I know I shouldn't be so chipper about it but I'm like this is soooo cool! - I'm sick I
know) :) So I go out & start shoveling again & I get to the steps & I'm all thinking I was done
with the steps cause the snow is like right there when I go to use the shovel again & wholy
flippin tamale! I still had the last step to do! So I did that & finally made a path on the
concrete & go & check car & its started getting buried! Got some pics of that! :) Thought about
going & tackling it but decided if it wasn't done yet & the advisory isn't over til 12pm tues I
might as well save my strength for tomorrow & boy will I ever need it! :) I just checked around
1am & yep car is pretty much completely buried, snow on the porch is up to my chest just about,
snow on the back porch is up past bottom window (got pics), snow on one side of house is up to
top of bottom window. Although I went to office window in front near road & there is there big
gap where you can still see the ground! It is so flippin wickedly weird I love it!!! :)
I am kinda looking forward to tomorrow when it stops cause I didn't get much of a work out in
today so tomorrow I'll be hurting! :) I can't wait to get out & take pics tomorrow! I look at
some of my neighbors & they are just as bad! At least I made sure I was able to open my front
door cause some of them won't be able to! I won't be able to go help them cause I am completely
snowed in! At least kitty really wouldn't be able to run anywhere if she got out! Completely
surrounded by snow on the porch! :) Oh yeah the reason I checked out the other side of house is
cause the snow keeps blowing by on the top windows but not bottom & I was like what the!?!?
I suppose I would be freaked more if I didn't have power or enough food or water for me or
Spirit but I do so I'm riding it out & loving it! :) Just hope everyone in family is doing
good!
So its 10:30am on tues & still no cable/internet/phone!!! Oy I am getting frustrated! :) Well
it seem sto have stopped snowing - thereis still some wind but not much, although every time I
went to take a picture the wind would kick up :) Turns out Spirit really loves snow :) Little
weirdo like me :) Snow in some places was taller then me :) Today I spent almost an hour
getting to the car :) I got half of the front of the van dug out & luckily the driver side is
still clear. I went to do the back half & I swear there is like an inch of ice - gonna take
some muscle to clear that away! I can't wait to get back out there & start shovelling again :)
They haven't even plowed in front the side streets for the trailer park. I saw them at the
other end trying to plow & it looks like either they or someone else did the front little part
to almost my van. Don't know if it was them or someone else cause there was an ambulance parked
outside the place next door when I got up today - kinda brought me down from my snow high.
While I was out looking at the van the truck couple trailers down took a bit to get out but he
made it - he was just making sure he could I think cause he got near me where it was already
kinda plowed & then went back to his place. The people across from me had to come from their
back door where it wasn't as bad & got all the way around to the trailer next to them & then
climb up on their porch & walk over their snow covered porch to get their shovel & start trying
to get their front door cleared :) I woulda kept going but I needed to defrost :) It wouldn't
have been so bad except the wind kept blowing so it got me a little colder then normal.
Well I went out around 3pm & spent about an hour doing more shovelling. I didn't get everything
done but I got almost all around the van done - just a little bit in front didn't get done &
then under the front of it. Plus behind it is pretty much pure ice so I didn't get it done but
I got some before I gave up. It was just too much for me & no I am hurting a bit, my back &
arms/hands are twinging a bit. Hopefully tomorrow I'll either be better enough to do more
shovelling or go to gym. I've gone 3 days without going to gym & although I have been working
out some its just not the same! I need to go to the gym!!!!!!!!!
Although it was a pain when the power would flicker - mostly cause it would take a few hours
before I could use the dvr again - it was cool that it kept happening around 12 - so the clock
would only be like 10 min off :)
sunday sunday sundayI have to say I am getting disappointed in sci fi films - they just try so hard sometimes. I
mean if I had a big flying thing after me I sure as heck would be shutting the door when I got
in my vehicle! & Come on if you're going to rip off another shows ideas & stuff at least make
the monsters a little more believable & not so cheesy looking! & If you have to have nudity at
least make it a little more tasteful or believable then needing to take of heroine's clothes to
rub blood all over her & then put her clothes back on, I mean come on do they really need
breasts to make a sci fi show/movie that interesting? Don't get me wrong I love their
movies/shows but sometimes I'm like come on!
Well I almost went to gym today but I just didn't feel like taking shower & I woulda needed to
go today, well I take one everyone day before going but I really woulda needed to - wouldn't
have been able to talk myself into forgoing today. I did do excercise video thingy - I felt it
but it wasn't as satisfying as gym. Ok let me explain felt it, when I do the gym yes I have to
force myself to finish sometimes (ok most of the time) but at the end I just feel betterish &
kinda have energy or a buzz going on. Maybe its cause of what I did today - I got on floor for
last bit of it & maybe that is what did me in. I don't know - I'll try to excercise again on my
lunch & see what happens. :)
Dang I need to review excercise videos/shows before I do them on lunch. Took up too much time
for me to realize I wouldn't be able to do it cause it was mostly laying down stuff - so I put
up the one I have done before. The one that works my arms & calves mostly. Didn't have enough
time to do it all & thats alright cause I wouldn't have done part that I lay on floor cause I
was on floor earlier & it was giving some twinges so I better not push it til tomorrow :)
Although I just found out it maybe blizzarding so I don't know if I'll be able to get to gym -
I really really hope so, its time to push my times up again :) Little miss was trying to play
with me while I was doing my excercise at lunch :) She is just sooo adorable :)
day 14 So today went so so - I go there in what I thought was plenty of time but I ran out of it. I
did 20 min bike & 3 circuits & 15 min bike. I gotta find someway of warming up before doing the
bike cause when I did it the 2nd time it wasn't as hard on my feet. Of course the 1st time I
couldn't make myself go slow - everytime I tried it would go back up again - I was like dang
it! but just went with it :) When I did it the 2nd time - had to cause 3 flippin girls took the
treadmills just as I was about to go to it - I was able to keep it nice & slow (my feet didn't
hurt as much that time, actually pretty much not at all) but unfortunately I wasn't able to
finish my full 20 min cause they were closing. I'm gonna have to start going even earlier now!
:) I'm taking about 1 hr & 15 min now. The circuit was busy today but unfortunately the chick
running it was not even there - she stayed on the phone in the bathroom for like 10-20 min &
then she went outside for another 10-20 min to talk on the phone - then came back in & went
back over to the bathroom & her friends came in & she stayed over in the corner with them. She
didn't even have the circuit voice on - the other chicks kinda did it by watching the clock
kinda. I don't mind working out with someone else in room w/bike or treadmill but on circuit
I'd rather do it alone. :)
When I got home I took Spirit out again - only for like 15 min today cause I spooked the poor
thing. We were walking outside & I seen some siding in front of my place so I picked her up &
took her up there so I walked back to back door where siding is messed up to check it out & she
got out of my arms. I had to pick her back up tho because the fucking neighbor has been walking
her dog right by my back porch & he has deficated all flipping over!! Its hard to walk back
there w/o stepping in something. So anyways I let her back down as I go back to get a tarp
thingy that used to be on back pipe thingy & I pulled it out & she freeeeeakkked!!! She almost
wiggled her way out of her harness but I caught her in time - brought her back around & she
dang near ran up the door to get back inside. I felt kinda bad for her poor thing! As soon as I
got the harness off she ran across the room where she could keep door in her sites but be far
away from front door. :)
So I decided what the heck & went out & picked up the garbage & sagebrush outside - since its
supposed to possibly snow again on mon & I'm getting sick of seeing everyone's trash in my
yard! I now don't feel so bad about not getting the last 5 min in cause it took me 20 min &
dang was I feeling it when I got done! It filled a big garbage bag full - mostly with sagebrush
but at least my yard ain't so trashy looking! :) I do like this temp & cool breeze - it feels
really good :)
day 13Well I did good again - except I really had to push myself. I did 20 min on bike & 3 circuits &
20 on treadmill. I think what is on tv is a big thing - they have tvs in each room you work out
in. If there is something I can focus on it seems to help - along with the shutting of eyes.
Dang it I shoulda written this earlier but I was a dork & totally forgot about it - I knew if I
started shutting the notebook I would forget about writing & lo & behold I did :( It also helps
if someone else is in the room while biking or treadmill...but not circuit. I find myself able
to push myself a little bit easier if someone else is in room cause they always seem to be able
to do more & faster then me so I try to kinda keep up with them. I waited too long to get on
circuit today so I had to follow someone & they were being thorough - which I don't mind - I
needed that to get thru my head to jump in as soon as I see my beginning spot open. I keep
starting at this one station cause that was were lady started me out at. Oh yeah the circuit
went slow cause I was following this lady - I go a little quicker if I'm not cause I don't do
all the stations & I don't know - I guess I take about same time but I swear it was a little
slower today cause it seemed like I shoulda had little more time since I got there little bit
earlier....ok now I'm not making sense & jumping from subject to subject - in this paragraph &
others. I am soooo leaving this up so I can remember to do this from now on :) Oh yeah as soon
as I got done with last treadmill & walked outside I was all better like, no pain or
tiredness....how weird huh? :)
Ugh my monthly is kicking my butt right now so I can't think straight...not to mention I didn't
sleep worth anything. I figured it out, when I lay down like that & it is almost like I fell
asleep but it also feels like I haven't - I just don't hit REM I think. Cause I don't remember
the whole time while laying down but I remember most so I think I hit the light sleep without
the good heavy part :)
Can tell again I have been working out cause afterwards I went inside Walgreens to get scripts
& then had to get out to drop off Alltell bill then when I got home I took kitty out for 20 min
& I was still doing good - no pain & only a little tired but I think that was cause I hadn't
really eaten in almost 5 hrs. I gotta stop that - I gotta do like Miki & start carrying
pretzels & maybe those peanut butter thingies she showed me today - they were so cute - like
creamers & jellies restraunts have - it was in those little containers :) I have started taking
pop tarts with me to eat afterwards. I just need to stop procrastinating & look stuff up on
internet but I just get so....grrr if I can't find what I want right away! :)
I'm reading this book while Miki does her excercising & I watch Marli - I can't remember name
but its by Kim Harrison - Hopefully I can use that as an incentive - no that only works when
Miki will be there - she doesn't on sat's so I gotta find something to get me wanting to go in
early enough - they close @ 3pm unfortunately on Sat & I sometimes don't get back up til like
2ish since I get off @ 7am. I am hoping to go after work today @ 7am but I felt like this last
Sat about this time & by the time 7am came around I was wiped. Anyways....what I was going to
say is its a really longish book & I have a feeling I'm going to have withdrawals from it. I've
realized if it takes me a long time to read or watch something (I keeps starting & stopping
them) after I am done I go thru little withdrawals & its sometimes hard for me to start
something new :)
Ok on to show watching - me watching now writing :)
day 12Yeeeyahhh!! I did it, I finally did it - 20 min on the flippin bike!!!! I so happy!! Now I
gotta push it to 30 min :) But I'll stick w/20/20 til Mon I think :) So I did 20 min bike & 3
circuits & 20 min treadmill. Was a little difficult but I pushed thru - my back is starting to
act up some so that's another reason not to push anymore for a little bit....ie Mon :) Don't
want to put it off too long or I'll keep giving myself excuses :) I don't know whether to be
offended or not but the lady at desk was like so you did 10 min & I was like uh no I did 20 min
- I'm up to 20 min before & after & she got all excited :) So now I wonder how much she has
been thinking I have been doing? She asked/said something about how much I started at & I was
like 3 min & she got excited again :) She's kinda cool - not that I've had much experience
w/trainers :) I have to say right now I love the gym.....except for that dang bike - I have
such a love/hate thing going on with it! :) Was able to come home afterwards & do the dishes up
& put stuff away & start a load of laundry before work :) Kicking bootie! Tho tired cause of
the heat & haven't been getting another sleep with the monthly - which finally started today -
almost didn't work out cause of the achy pain but once I started it went away...til now :)
My kitty can be so calm sometimes - I was reading the other night while holding her & just
started laughing, I tried to stop because it was jarring her but she just kept looking at me
like - ar you done yet? - which made laugh even more - but she didn't leave just kept sitting
there :)
So I'm starting to do the simple exercise video on my lunch & I bring the stool over early
cause I know I'll need it - well apparently it slipped my notice little miss wasn't in the room
last time cause this time she gets up on the stool & the beginning of the exercise are these
arm swings....so here I am swinging my arms & there she is swinging her arms....at mine!! :) So
I'm trying to exercise while laughing at her trying to attack me & trying to keep away from
her. She figures out after like 30 sec that I'm not trying to play with her so just sits there
for a bit just watching me (kinda made me want to shoo her away - not quit like doing it in a
class but still I was being watched!!) :) Well a few min later she gets bored....and decides to
make things difficult for me by making me laugh again :) She starts trying to chase her
tail....while still on top of the stool!! She is just sooo cute! After almost falling off she
got the idea & just sat & watched me for a bit again before giving up on me playing with her &
going off to do her thing :) I only did like 15-20 min of video cause I decided not to do the
laying down & stomach thingy since its that time of month but man did I feel those are & calves
ones again!! Guess I gotta do them more often cause they still were painful :)
Well thats it for tonight - off to eat (meatloaf I made myself!!! & its pretty good - better
then last time - thanks mom for the help) :) & back to work :)
Day 11Woohoo!! I kicked bootie again!! Unfortunately the bike was being used so I had to do treadmill
again in beginning & ending - I did 20 min treadmill & 3 circuits & 20 min treadmill again. I
was gonna wait to start doing the 3rd circuit til tomorrow but I changed my mind :) I may
regret it cause of the neck/shoulder thing but so far I'm not feeling any pain. My legs tingled
a little bit after both rounds on the treadmill but not bad. I was pretty busy in there tonight
- lady brought her kid in - he was a little cutie - once the others on the circuit left he
started following me around trying to do the stations. Then when I went to do the treadmill he
followed me in - he was like you can go faster. He went a little time walking/running then
stopped & I was like yeah he's gonna go - I didn't mind him but I didn't want to have to pay
attention to him either - then he started it up again but he pushed these buttons on there that
automatically go to a certain speed - well not automtically but quickly on its own. I think his
mom heard him cause he started thumping while running - luckily he had put that thingy that
attaches to the machine so if you fall it stops. Well I was just getting ready to reach over &
turn the speed down on the arm thingy when he starts hanging by the handles & before I could do
anything he falls & goes flying back - I figure his mom heard him banging when he was running
cause she was right there - poor thing got in trouble & had to have a time out :) I can't
remember if it was after the 1st circuit or the 2nd but my lower left back started hurting - I
went ahead & did last treadmill & I don't think I had any twinges after but I did move slow
down the stairs :)
Day 10 Flip I was gonna say more but I took a nap & can't think of anything :)
So I get to bed kinda early & got woken up like 2 hrs later - which means I was not very awake
& by the time it hit my brain that it was the middle of the night so there might be something
wrong so I panicked & was wrapped up in my blankets & my phone is behind me so I reach & strain
to get it & it pulled something in my neck/shoulder. So today I wasn't able to do the circuit -
I did 17 min on the bike then 20 min on the treadmill. Once again my legs were tingly when I
got done - not sure if I should be worried or not. I almost pushed myself to try to do the
whole 20 min on the bike but I don't know - maybe I was too close to the pedals this time cause
dang my upper thighs were so flippin hurting! Both of them were like that - my calves & feet
weren't too bad but just the thighs - oy! :) But it went away pretty quick cause normally I
have kinda a cool down period when I do the circuits but this time it was barely like 1-2 min
before I started the treadmill. Although jumping from one to the other may have had a negative
cause it was kinda hard for me to push thru that 20 min. I can tell a difference tho cause
while I was w/Miki & Chandler & Marli at drive thru not only did I turn down fast food I got
out & walked over to get ads - it wasn't very far but before I woulda just waited for Miki to
drive over & let her get out to get them :)
I don't like how I am feeling right now tho - I took a nap after playing Literati w/Dawn & I
woke up all....wonky - Kinda like I was on edge/jumpy/maybe anxious - don't know how to explain
it. Thought maybe it was just the side I was sleeping on so I switched sides but only conked
out for like 30 min I think before I woke up with same feeling again. Tried relaxing but the
feeling wouldn't go away - so I got up & I was fine for like 2-3 hrs but now I am all weak
feeling again with that edgieness again.
Day 9
Holey hannah batman!!!! I am like owie! I didn't go in to gym today but did do this 30 min(ish)
work out show from recording - really easy basic stuff & man oh man am I feeling it - bit more
then gym pain - probably because it was focusing on back upper arms & calfs & thighs - but I
proved it to myself I can do it on Sun :)

Yeah! I kicked bootie today :) Did 14 min on bike & 2 circuits & 25 min on treadmill - I was a
little bit tired afterwards & when I stopped on treamill my legs did this weird tingling thing
so I think tomorrow I am going to stick to my 20 afterwards - Not sure on time on bike I am
going to do cause I was only gonna do 13 min today w/an ok to myself if I could only do 12 min
but I was able to push it thru to 14 min :) & afterward while Miki was getting her blood drawn
I actually stood up next to Marli playing with her the whole time & then went grocery shopping
& I was a little wiped afterwards but there was no way a week & 5 ish days I woulda been able
to do that :) I'm getting there - slowly but shirley :) I am just anxious to get to the 20 min
on bike - 3 circuits - 20 min treadmill (maybe more) & working out later again at home. I was
gonna work out today during my lunch but when I got up to go to living room I just didn't have
it in me - ok ok maybe I coulda done it but I just didn't feel like it & I did that extra 5 min
on treadmill & stuff afterwards so I forgive myself :) Haven't really lost anymore weight but
that's ok because I am able to move around more and..and....how can I say it - its not with
confidence in way you think - kinda like confidence that I can walk for so long or stand for so
long with feeling weak and just not being able to do it cause of pain. I'm excited to being
finally able to do this :)
Plus I gotta get this eating 6 times a day thing tackled. I'm doing better that at least I am
eating 3 times a day even on days off - but dang 6 times!! Oy that is difficult! How do I do
that when I dislike eating so much! At least I used a whole gallon of milk before it went bad
(not in one sitting) :)~ Plus I am trying to drink more water - I know I am still not drinking
as much as I should but I am trying. I get at least 2 bottles drank after/during the workout -
if not right after then at least an hour later. I am doing good staying away from fast food
though!!!!! I did cave the other day & have subway but at least that is healthy fast food. They
even endorse it on Biggest Loser :) Its not even appealing to me know - just today I was
thinking how I wouldn't have been able to pass up the sweets or the fast food even just last
week. Now I'm not saying its gonna last but you never know :) Although the craving for Taco
Pizza from Godfather's hit hard & it was a little harder talking myself out of it cause its
almost healthy - its got lettuce & tomatoes & meat & cheese & bread(ish) :)
I've got more to talk about probably but I have Transporter 3 sitting in front of me begging me
to watch it so gonna go :)
8th day - trying not to think of it as torture I realized I'm feeling run down also because I have been doing something every day this week &
I am just not used to it - when I have done this before (doing something everyday of week) By
end of week I am drained.
Ok I am beyond disappointed!!! I got this Steamables frozen package thingy that you just pop
into microwave - supposed to be Chicken Pasta Primavera - maybe, maybe 15 noodles in it & 5
pieces of chicken!!! The rest is all flippin vegetables! But it did taste good - I have one
w/rice I'm gonna try too - was on sale :)
I now understand why all the green tea at store is either w/citrus or honey - the stuff takes
alot to get used to!! Think I might have to buy some honey - although it did take me awhile to
get used to tea w/o sugar so who knows :)
So today was 8th day of working out in gym - flip I almost didn't make it. I just hope this
gets easier cause I don't know how much more I can push myself - I just have to keep reminding
myself Of the ardrenaline high afterwards :) So I was a little late getting there - thought
they closed @ 4pm but turns out it was 3pm - luckily I got there close to 2pm & made it out of
there with few minutes to spare :) The bike was being used so I did 10 min on the treadmill
then 2 circuits & 20 min on treadmill again. Oh man did I have to fight to stay on there!
Closing my eyes helped a little bit but not much & it really didn't help when the youngen that
was there watching the place came in & was like I'll work out with you & started going on the
treadmill next to me - it was really nice of her but today it just wasn't a good thing.
Although when I did my 1st treadmill the lady that was already doing treadmill was really nice
& we talked for a few min - glad it was in beginning & not the end :) But in the end it sucked
cause these 2 little kids - probably around 10'ish came in & started using the other 2
treadmills & yes I was walking with my eyes shut but still they could have asked if they could
change channels - but they didn't they just did it - luckily I was on like my last 5 min & was
leaving when they were talking about finding Zach & Cody I was like oh soooooo happy to be
leaving :)
I came home & took shower & ate something so I'm feeling a little bit better - better then
yesterday - I felt better before & after today then I did yesterday - I so wish I could go to
sleep now but I gotta stay awake another hour or two otherwise I'll have an even longer night
then last night - It just took forever for the shift to get over last night - it was all day so
I couldn't complain about that :)
I've been noticing that my spelling & typing aren't as good as they used to be - hopefully its
just me being tired & not the keyboard going out - or do I hope its the other way around :)
7th day Spirit has been drinking water from the side - it keeps getting under her chin wet - I don't
get it - she has only been doing it last couple of weeks. I am not getting why she is doing it
- maybe its just to get me wet when she is done :)
Last couple of days I keep waking up & looking at clock @ 10:26am - What the?!?!? :)
Its the 7th day? I think :) of gym. I did 8 min on bike then 2 circuits then 20 min treadmill.
I was so flippin tired before hand today - had to force myself to go. I had to close my eyes to
keep going and for some reason that helped, I did it on the treadmill too, time seemed to go a
little easier. I almost did more then 20 min but decided to hold back since I am only at 8 min
on bike so far and want to get it up to 20 min. Right now I am like there is no way I'll be
able to keep doing this, I am just so tired. I was hoping after I ate I would be better but I
am still wiped - gotta wait at least another hour before taking a nap before graveyard tonight.
I am going to maybe try to go tomorrow but I just don't know, right now I am beat down :) I
want to start working out twice a day too, gotta find some excercise show to record :)
I went to library afterwards & the walk to it just drained me, not like other days when I had
energy to do shopping & whatnot. Of course those days I rested for like 30-40 min while sitting
with Marli while Miki worked out. Going to the post office afterwards wasn't as bad as the
library but luckily I was just in & out.
Me brain is drained too :) I'm like uh uh uh uh wasn't there more :) But I don't think so :)
6th day I realized I was off a day but thats just cause I didn't do anything on Sunday cause its a back
to back day :)
So it was the 6th day & was tougher then ever! I was on the bike for 5 min did 2 circuits then
did 20 min of treadmill. I realized though once I got started on the treadmill after the 1st 5
or so min as long as I didn't think about it too much I could keep going - not to say I wasn't
hurting after 20 min :) But it was the good kinda of pain. Plus I'm able to keep my breathing
kidna more controlled without thinking about it & when it does start going I am able to get it
back under control easier :) I would like to say I am not complaining about the pain and what
not - I love it - just gotta talk about it so it doesn't build up in my brain & I start
thinking its too much :) Oh yeah & one of the reasons the bike was kicking my toucus was that I
wasn't close enough to the pedals - although it still hurts just not as bad as before :) Plus I
think thats why I was able to go for 5 min today :) I am hoping to increase the bike time
tomorrow but I am staying at 2 circuits & 20 min treadmill. Not sure if I am going this Sat or
not yet - migh just try this work out show I have recorded - although I may do that for my
lunch tonight since I want to start working out twice a day now - know I should probably what a
month or so....no I am going to wait since I am trying to get my bike time up to 20 min too :)
I can tell its already helping because I am moving easier & faster then before w/o the huffing
& puffing :) Like when I went shopping today - I whipped thru the store pretty quick and didn't
even feel it that much. Before by the time I got the van my back woulda been killing me - not
like year ago but still. I have lost like 5 pounds already too :) Now I just gotta start eating
more....yes you heard right more :) There are/used to be only 3 days I would normally eat 3
times a day - othertimes it was only one or two times. Problem is I hate food so having to eat
6 times a day is problematic - but I am working on it - we'll see in 3 wks when I get weighed &
measured again :)
I am worried about in a few days though - thats when the monthly starts & I don't know if I'll
be able to handle working out or what the deal will be. I hope I will be able to keep going
though - I hear its supposed to make things not as bad when your excercising...or was it the
other thing that helps?
You know your tooth has got to be doing damage to your cheek when you barely rub carrott over
it & it make cutting noises :) Trying to dull it down some :)
5th day So today was my 5th day & I kicked butt!!!! I wasn't able to do bike since someone else was on
it so I did 5 min of treadmill to start out then did 2 circuits instead of 1 (a day early) then
did 15 min on treadmill :) That last flippin 5 min almost did me in - but I kept pushing :) The
2nd circuit almost seemed easier then the 1st - except this one that flippin hurt like you
wouldn't believe - it was this arm pressy one. I checked the setting on it twice cause it
seemed so hard :) Then I went to sit w/Marli while Miki worked out & almost fell asleep - think
it was just cause I was reading newspaper & sun was beating down on me :)
I broke another piece of my back upper tooth off couple of days ago & now its hurting - just
because the sharp edges of it is cutting into my cheek - especially when I'm sleeping. But I am
getting a little worried since my bottom jaw on that side is hurting. Kinda thinking whatever
bacteria was in the part of tooth is now affecting things.
Facebook is kinda addicting - at least its better then other networky sites (not gonna mention
the name of it) :) Talk about addicting...although I am getting to a pain in the toucus
part...is Kingdom of Loathing.
4th day So 4th day has totally kicked my butt up one side & down the other!!!! Plus I didn't sleep
enough last night - didn't help that I did shoveling today - heavy snow too. If only I had done
it yesterday - oh well - its a good feeling pain :) I coulda actually shovelled everything like
I normally did but I decided to try to leave some energy for the workout so I didn't do the
other side of driveway. Pushed myself at the gymm a bit tho - did bike for 3 1/2 min & then
only 1 circuit & then 13 min of treadmill. Was going to do more but I was wiped out. My arms
hurt so much I couldn't put on my coat as I was leaving :) Miki had picked me up to go pick up
tickets while I sat with the little one and she was just gonna go home after that but I
convinced her to go in real quick and do some cardio & I went in after her - kinda a good thing
I didn't have to drive home cause my arms were tired :) Man am I glad I cut my hair tho cause
my hair is always soaked after working out!
Tempted to take a nap today but trying not to - So I can sleep better. Oh I do not know - my
brain is fried!! :) & I need to go get my fuzzy socks - my feet are freezing! :) fuzzy socks
fuzzy socks gotta love the fuzzy socks :)
3rd day & snow! Woohoo!!! It snowed last night & today too. Snow snow - glorious snow!!! :) Supposed to snow
next couple of days too. Wish I hadn't been late to gym cause I coulda shovelled. Just gonna
have more to do before going tomorrow :) Well it was 3rd day at gym today - was late but with
the gathering of trash & scrapping the vehicle windows I didn't my beginning work out kinda :)
Did another 3 min on the treadmill so I am up to 8 min :) Hopefully I can do like 15 min
tomorrow if I get my butt in gear & get there on time - hoping to do 2 circuits inste.....no I
better just stick to 1 cause I'll be sure to do the bike probably before the circuit & since I
didn't do it today it'll probably kick my toucus big time!!! :) But then again I'll have to do
the shovelling so who knows :) I'm really looking forward to the treadmill, Used to have one
for a little bit in AZ but it was just too hot even with a/c going :) So far when I have gone
there has been only 1 or 2 others in there - its pretty nice! Plus its all females & have been
nice - only eh vibes I got were from these 2 youngins - they just seemed kinda snooty - from a
distance I didn't talk to them or get too close to them so who knows.
I love webcams!! Its so much fun :)
2nd gym day
So today is my 2nd day of the gym :) I did better :) But that damn sitting bike thingy (the one
where your legs are like even w/your butt - not like a regular bike) is kicking my ass!! It
hurts my feet & I had a weird cramp in my stomach but at least I kept track of time this time
so I can do better & push myself. I realized how/why I had such trouble on the treadmill
yesterday. I was having such trouble breathing that I coulda swore I was gonna black out, I
only lasted 3 minutes, I realized I was breathing too hard & going too fast yesterday. So today
I went a little slower & made sure to pay attention to my breathing, I only did 5 minutes but
the little I did yesterday & the full circuit I did today I was feeling it bad. I was actually
not going to do the treadmill at the end but decided to go ahead & see what I could do. I am so
glad I didn't push myself further cause holy hannah batman I am hurting! :) Not in a way that
is going to stop me from keep going. Its a good kind of pain :)
I've realized one of Spirits damn boyfrieds is spraying my hallway window! I wasn't sure if it
was that before or if someone threw something at the window. I went by the other day & noticed
fresh wetness & realized it was cat pee!! Dang thing was trying to mark my kitty as his - I
don't think soooo! :)
Oh yeah I went to go to the gym today & I was like hmmmm maybe I should take my sweater jacket
with me but nahhh. So was I was walking there were these tiny flurries and again thought about
it but dismissed it again (ding bat). So Miki & I walk out of the gym & man oh man had the
temprature dropped! You could see your breath & there were more flurries - we were so flippin
cold!!
2 thoughts/good ideas/duhs! If you work out for 1st time ever do not - I repeat DO NOT go grocery shopping afterwards. It
makes the pain worse :) Realized this after I went & went to get out of van to pay the rent & I
was like wowser. Yes I went to the gym & am hoping to keep it up :) I only last 20 minutes but
it was better then nothing - hopefully it'll go smoother tomorrow :)
If you are getting your car washed in automatic car wash - do not - I repeat DO NOT open the
door when the attendent knocks on the window (no matter how early in the process) I went to get
car washed & guy knocks on window saying something about turning the wheel & the sprayer turns
on - he goes & turns it off & comes back again so this time I only roll the window down a
little & the sprayer turns on again - guess the guy gave up cause off I went :) Thursday March 5, 2009
